His sire, *Elston, was a Region IX Top 5 Stallion.  His dam, Errotika, was US Reserve National Champion Halter and English Pleasure, at the US Snaffle Bit Futurity/Maturity.

His grand dam, Ekstaza, was a Polish National Champion mare, and his grandsire, *Erros, was Polish Reserve National Champion stallion for 83-84.

Epic was a beautiful black bay, with large expressive eyes, an elegant head, and long, high set neck. His look was one that was very distinct and as evidenced by his show record, the judges love it! Epic foals are easy to spot as he passed that look to them all.

Epic's personality was also special; calm, intelligent, and loving - exceptional qualities in a stallion. These too are traits he passed to his foals. He was always a well-mannered and gentle breeder, suitable for maiden mares.
