WHAT CAN MAVERICK DO FOR YOUR
MARES?!
Cremello horses are known as "double
dilutes", horses which received two copies of the same cream
dilution gene that creates palomino and buckskin colors with a
single copy. They are just like any other normal, solid colored
horse.
When two cream dilute parents
(Palomino or Buckskin) are bred together, there is a 25% chance
that the resulting foal may get one cream dilute gene from each
parent, and be a double-dilute (Cremello or Perlino). The pale
double diluted color appeals to some people, and not others, but
regardless of whether you personally find it attractive, the
fact remains that it is just another color.
The upside is that breeding to a
Cremello like Maverick
ADDS SOME COLOR TO YOUR LIFE!
